Scoop’s Contracting started in 2007 after Levi Hinds couldn’t find anyone to pour the concrete floor for a shed and had to get help from someone to get the job done himself. That very first job led to a moon-light concrete business while working a full time job as a diesel mechanic. After a few years, he quit his full time job to support the growing business of Scoop’s Contracting, which was initially flat work and masonry jobs, but grew into pouring foundations. Depending on the season, Scoop’s Contracting employed 4-12 full-time employees, but as time went on it became increasingly difficult to find labor to deliver the quality Levi wanted for his customers. After twelve years in the business, the doors to Scoop’s Contracting are closing and Levi is pursuing a sales career with Carroll Construction Supply, where he always bought his supplies & equipment and where he’ll be able to continue to take care of customers!
